Family

I was born and raised near Chattanooga, Tennessee. My father was an Evangelist and Country Gospel singer and as a result we were always active in church and did a lot of traveling to many churches and denominations. I met my wife Connie as we were coworkers at an Insurance company. We have 4 grown children, 3 of which are in North Carolina and another in Texas.

Testimony

I was saved at the age of six. It was during one of my pastor’s sermons, and I really felt the conviction of God on my life and that something was missing. I needed Christ. One of the deacons lead me through the plan of salvation and my life has never been the same. I started sharing my testimony with kids at school and my friends.

Favorite Bible Verse

My life verse is James 1:17 – “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.”

Favorite Person in the Bible

My favorite food is peach cobbler. Good anytime – anywhere!
